What the fuck is with all the shimmying and crawling through vents in The Callisto Protocol? Jesus fucking christ literally one area was 5min straight of those god damn things I'll be honest about this game. I love so much of it... but the level design is linear as fuck. You don't have any real areas to go around and explore off the beaten path... and as you progress, you get artificially locked out from backtracking or exploring. It's literally a straight line through this game. Game looks awesome at times... and just ok in others. You can tell where the budgets

Exactly. Although it's cringe 90% of the time, it's still far better than the stale ass formula of the Direct style shows. Those are fine in between big industry events.. but they shouldn't be the main focus IMO.

Yeah, it does. I just finished testing it. It's a million times better than it was before however. Like I said... they're going to have a bunch of people going through the game and they will be logging all the PSO data the shaders in the game require. Then they'll reintegrate it into the build, and push it out..allowing the game to pre-compile them ahead of time. Generating that PSO cache, and rebuilding is something a LOT of developers either forget to do, or didn't realize they had to do in the first place. You would definitely like this game. I’m only on chapter 2 but there’s already been some twisted stuff and the storytelling is good. Unlike The Cat Lady this game is built on Unity and it already has controller support, so hopefully there will be a console port sometime in the future.
