  1. Hahaha, the selfish side of me would want Pacers to stay in 3rd. Then Raps would in theory play two of Indiana, Brooklyn, Charlotte, Miami and Detroit in the first two rounds. Meanwhile Philly and Boston beat up on each other in the first round and then again with Milwaukee in the second. Probably unlikely with Dipo out though.
  2. Why not top down? ALBW was great! I take it that's what they mean when they say 2d. I'd also be in for an Adventure of Link style tbh. I think there's a lot of potential for that. A top downish overworld but with levels that end up being sidescroller. Would be a risk though. Regarding Mario Maker 3D...I dunno...I just can't see them getting it right. Would be cool though.
  3. So this is based on some Reset Era "insider" but they seem to have given him credibility/he's had info in the past...take it with a grain of salt either way. Not necessarily all gonna be announced at the direct but could be possible. Apparently the "big" ones are: Pikmin 3 Port Mario Maker 2 2D Zelda Metroid Prime Trilogy (this one they seem confident will be at the direct). Boxboy (no clue what the fuck this is). Pokemon Not the greatest list really. 2D Zelda could be great and I've wanted Trilogy for a while. I hope if they do Mar
  4. It was a sad few hours. But similar to the Kawhi trade it quickly turned into excitement. Gasol is just better than JV in so many ways. Threat from the 3, incredible passes, better defensively, spaces the floor. Also I think an underrated aspect of the trade is that the bench seems to play better with Ibaka and this will put him there most games. Hopefully we get some good pickups on the buyout market...if we can get a PF and another shooter I like where we're at. East will be a bloodbath regardless.
  5. Dead Cells is such a good fucking game. What an amazing gameplay loop...it reminds me a lot of the feeling I used to get from Diablo II. No matter how much time I have to play it always seems like I'll be able to accomplish something worthwhile when I boot it up. Finally got all of the runes and made it to Hand of the King (got wrecked though). Working on a couple passive updrades...got my chance of a + item to 100%, working on Health Flask IV. Support builds are OP.
  6. no one without a previous attachment to this community would want to post here. seriously, the only reason this place is appealing is cause a lot of us have been talking about games with each other off and on for over a decade. have you seen some of the shit that gets posted here? for an outsider a lot of it would fall between indecipherable and "i should maybe notify the fbi".
  7. Yeah, the world and overall atmosphere definitely trump the story. Though the story has some highs (and a couple lows) that you haven't reached yet. There's a few missions in particular that really fucking nail it.
  8. I think the point of the rezes is that the game really seems balanced around 3v3 fights. It's why that's the only mode available and you can only pick 1 of each class per team. Another thing I'd say is, not allowing rezes can sometimes extend a game unneccessarily. For example, if 3 of your squad dies in Fortnite, you basically have no chance of winning the game normally. That can result in someone just hiding, extending the game for no good reason.
  9. "nicer you are" "manipulative women" right win incels ITT. www.reddit.com/r/niceguys
  10. I only saw it happen once honestly so really hard to gauge. I'm sure if you're on a solid coordinated team you could pull it off more frequently. End of the day though, you have to earn it so I don't mind it. Average game is maybe 15-20 minutes.
  11. I actually like it a lot. There's a pretty limited time of it being available. I think it's like 60 seconds after dying someone can come grab your remains. Leads to some interesting situations/decisions of whether it's worth the risk. Also allows you to bait the other team out if you're able to pick off a straggler. I played 6 or 7 games last night. It's solid for sure. I don't know how much time I'll invest in it since it's not the greatest solo experience and only a couple of my friends really mess with BRs (or games in general tbh lol), but if you had a 3 man team i
  12. I was waiting for the "new" airposd too but ended up getting them as a gift. I like em, they're good for what I use them for which is essentially 20 minutes walking/subway commute twice a day/throughout the day at work. They work seamlessly and I've yet to have any issues with connectivity, fit well in my ears too (much better than the other apple headphones that come with the phones). Battery life is phenomenal...I charge the case itself maybe once every 10 days or so. The sound quality is good for what they are but the max volume/lack of noise cancelling can leave a
  13. Canada here so haven't really done mine yet. Probably won't be high though, my company switch from matching RRSPs to matching pension so I won't get as big a credit there. I also no longer take the train to work so I lose a pretty big transit credit.
  14. Yeah, I can see you digging it for sure. Feel like I usually share similar views on open world stuff as you do. If you go in with managed expectations you'll have a blast. You could absolutely play it in a more chill way than I did too.
  15. I'd probably say it took me 40-50 hours? That was with me ignoring a lot of the side stuff...didn't do any real hunting/fishing, not a whole lot of exploring outside of going where the missions were (which covers most of the map anyway), didn't spend a ton of time interacting with people at the camp. Definitely the story path. It's super easy, I only died a couple times and that was just because I got cocky. I failed a few missions because Rockstar has some pretty obscene requirements on the path they want you to take/how close they want you to ride with people, but I usually resumed pretty cl
  16. I doubt they care about it working with Mario Party tbh. Weren't there a couple games that wouldn't work with 2DS? I think having built in joycons is the only real way to make it smaller/cheaper. Keep in mind you could probably still use traditional joy cons with it if you were willing to purchase some. And yeah it's definitely gonna come out in time for portable AC and Pokemon. Makes perfect sence.
  17. probably less than nintendo paid namco for their wasted metroid prime development tbh.
  18. That really sucks for the handful of people that bother to turn their Xbox on more than once every two years.
  19. https://blog.us.playstation.com/2019/01/30/playstation-plus-cloud-storage-expanding-to-100gb-free-games-for-february/ I was super close to buying Hitman the other night too. Glad I didn't, finally a game I'll get some value out of on PS+.
  20. Finally finished Chapter 6 of Red Dead. Can't even lie, the last couple hours was well worth the time investment, what a great ending. Some of the music in the last few missions was incredible...specifically Pretty mixed on the game overall. I thought they really nailed the atmosphere...everything about was great. It really did feel like a living, breathing world. Even on a base PS4 it looked fantastic and I didn't really have any issues with the performance. The weather, sound effects, characters were all. The story itself was solid, but they could have cut ~10 hours of it. Ch
  21. Played a bunch of Dead Cells on my flight/downtime during my snowboarding trip last week. Also started a new BotW game, got a decent way in but probably won't continue. Home now so back to slogging through RDR2. I think I'm almost done Chapter 6. I dunno if I'll bother with the Epilogue tbh. Might hold off a bit on grabbing RE2 and wait for a sale. Got a few games in the backlog that should fill the time till Metro is out. Into the Breach, Frozen WIlds, more Dead Cells, etc. Wouldn't mind getting Hitman 2/Subnautica/Spyro if the price is right.
  22. Could have been avoided if they didn’t make the dumb decision to have Namco do it in the first place.
  23. Sigh. I feel eel like they should have just cut chapter 5. The mission structure just gets too repetitive and the awe of the world, which kinda pushed me through for the first while, has kind of worn off
