This site has always gone by Gamespot - even after the Kane & Lynch Fiasco it didn't get dropped as the review site to use for Systemwars.

 

Metacritic is what you use if you want to actually buy it for yourself - like RottenTomatoes before you go buy a movie ticket; but we can't seriously use it as the score fluctuates, so you claim ownage a Monday, and by Friday you get owned?

GS has been the standard for 15 years now.  The entire site is literally spawned off of a single forum from GS.  That's where the name System Wars comes from.  The only reason you're trying to pull this agreed upon standard now is because you keep getting owned by the standard that's been in place for years.

Haha GS used to be the standard back when gaming websites didn't exist much.  But we are now 2018 and the whole entire world is online and has an opinion.  We can't just go by a single website anymore since there are much better websites out there that do the same thing.  With Metacritic you get a fair average of that number which is the more precise solution.

 

Gamespot and other websites are like companies.  They change management and have their own points of views and sometimes much different than others.  So if GS doesn't like a game but 10 other reputable websites that now exist in the "everyone is connected" year of 2018, does that mean that the game is bad?

You don't get it, you don't change anything, you don't have an opinion, this website isn't its own thing. GameSpot changed the rules 3 years ago, GameSpot dictates this sites function and existence, the metagame doesn't exist anymore.

Same for ps4 and nintendo.  But it still doesn't change the fact that it's better to have an average.. All websites want to make money.. even the somosXbox websites as well as Gamespot.  Why depend only on one website when we can have an average of them all?  Another factor is that it all depends on how many fansites the console has which can either increase or decrease the score because alot of sites can spam 10/10 (looking at Nintendo) and get higher overall scores for "legendary" games like zelda and mario..  It's very strange that you, a Sheep, would not want to use a site like Meta since you have so many high scoring games over there.

That's like saying that taking the opinions of 10 retarded people is a better way to diagnose a medical condition than me simply going to one normal doctor.

 

Notice how the cows and sheep don't seem to need the lame fanboy review sites to feel good about their games.
