Most are not committed with legal or legally obtained or authorized firearms and they're such edge cases they're barely even on the map in terms of gun related injuries and deaths. Mass shootings result in knee jerk reactions to something that are not a substantial problem, and they sure as shit shouldn't influence the control of firearms for the 99.99999999999999999999999999∞ of law abiding firearm owners. The most violent mass shooting injured 546 people in one incident and was carried out by a legal gun owner.
