We are talking about police encounters......ALL POLICE ENCOUNTERS. And police encounters occur with ALL CRIMES in which an arrest takes place. White people commit 2.5x more crimes. In other developed countries it takes years to become a police officer (just like it would take 4 years of college to get a job for every other decent job in the US)...... meanwhile to become a cop in the US all you need is a GED a few weeks of training and you're sent out there expected to handle all the crazy scenarios a cop run into. It's a disservice to the cop and a disservice to the public.
