Any steam fanboy against the Ally is misguided. Ally is a way to play steam games.

I like all the Bethesda games since Morrowind and I'll probably like this. I just hope there's all the faction side plots and world changing events that make their games memorable.

I want to see Samsung, Dell, HP and Sony (not Playstation) versions. And Valve has got to go ahead and release the SteamOS iso.

There are tons of reasons to want a Steam console over a Playstation. There's no subscription to play online. Games are way cheaper. It has tons of exclusives. Major gaming trends start on PC, have their whole arc, and only come to console after it's already played out.

This is a great way to game. I just see getting more and more into Steam as tech develops. No reason it can't be the go-to "console" with small form factor PCs running SteamOS. It has an insane library going back to the 80s and it makes old games even more playable.

You can't browse the files stored in a gamepass install directory.

It's worse than ever with Gamepass. Accessing installed game content requires higher privileges than admin. That shouldn't be a thing!

Arguably they didn't show CG, they still barely showed gameplay.

Funny how they claimed the show would not have CG trailers but still had very little gameplay.

Everything I want from Xbox is best on Steam. I don't even like the Xbox controller anymore compared to Dualsense.

Oh there is coop? I didn't see any room for multiplayer at all in the reveal trailer. It looked like a better, non-VR version of Horizon Call of the Mountain to me.

FF16 is coming to Steam sometime next year also.

I love how Sheep went all gameplay purist against Uncharted for having easy climbing, while Zelda is just straight up automatic.

Skyrim is still more impressive than BOTW, ignoring "at the time" comparisons.

If the game is good, I'll buy it on steam. If it's not good, I won't.

No Man's Sky was an exclusive for 2 years. Xbox still catching up.

I did not expect to be charmed by Fable and repulsed by Avowed.

I like Japanese games, but I swear they don't know how to make trailers. That atlus game looks indistinguishable from like 10 other recent games.

Avowed looking trash puts Xbox on lower footing than before the show. Nothing here looks close to Marathon.

This show is way worse than Playstation so far.
