I guess you can thank the cows for all their hard work and bashing Microsoft for five years, they've created their own destruction. 102020393023445948594 2,223 Posted October 2, 2018 Share Posted October 2, 2018 (edited) microsoft has managed to amass probably the worst first party studios ever assembled + the worst business plan ever (everything on PC) It's almost like they've mathematically tried to make xbox as worthless as possible. 343 (Bungie Shell corporation, haven't made a good game yet, pretty much put Halo, the most popular franchise ever, 6 feet under) Coalition (Radical SJWs actively sabotaging the identity of Gears of War, or 'Gears' ) Gears Tactics, Only on PC Ninja Theory (Plan B Studio) State of Decay developer (Have only made 5.0's ) compulsion games (Have only made multiplat 4.0's) Mojang (Only make multiplats, Minecraft's new game, Minecraft Dungeons = only on PC) Turn 10 (Only decent one, games are all still for PC) the only saving grace is all this garbage can be had for $8 a month via digital distribution, digital only license borrowing. Hooray. Hardcore gamers, are you excited? Or have you already Pre-ordered a PS5. Look at the current state of events, Sony is winning next gen RIGHT NOW Deeno. You'd have to be insane to be backing MS going into next gen. It's not like the 360 days, they have 0 momentum and zero goodwill going in. There was no Halo 1 or 2 moment for them this gen, Xbox Live is pretty much a wash with PSN for the most part, and the whole Japanese industry will be backing Sony again. The writing's on the wall, barring some miracle or monumental fuck up from Sony. Next gen will be this gen repeated just the hardcore Xbox fans like myself have learned our lesson and will be jumping ship this time around. Remij 4,717 Posted October 2, 2018 Share Posted October 2, 2018 I'd imagine that many of those people that Playground Games are hiring will obviously be working on the new open world RPG game, but lots of them will be working on a proper next generation Forza Horizon game. Between Turn 10 and PG, they'll have to be making all new updated versions of the car models as well as most other stuff. As nice as the car models are, they wont hold up next gen. Which is probably a result of those 5 studios and those employees now being counted as MS employee hires.
