And since you have a high deductible, if a minor injury occurs (like broken finger)...........you will say to yourself "well, I don't want to pay the deductible....so I just tough this out." Which means you are effectively PAYING MONEY for an Insurance Service that you don't want to use. Which is very common in this country. Most companies offer 1000$+ in well being credits, on top of using HSAs which are investable ...eek my hsa is sitting pretty at over 20k currently.
