Meanwhile it's a vital part of killing almost every enemy in GoW3, as well as navigating through cinematics. Darksiders; That's a game with similar combat depth to GoW. A fair comparsion. They are action adventure games and have other things going for them to justify seeing every possible combo after a couple encounters. GoW's combat is two dimesional compared to real action titles. I can't see a reason you can't recognize this unless you're missing something in the other games.

Actually no. Only the bosses require QTE. You can kill everyone else without QTE only it just takes longer and you lose out on maximizing your orb collecting. Bayonetta is the same way. You don't have to do the QTE finishers but you lose out on maximizing your grade and halo collecting. But you do have to perform QTEs on bosses.

With that said you think people purposely won't do the QTEs in Bayonetta which results in getting a lesser grade and halo collecting? Yeah that's a great option. But at least you didn't try and deny it. You only tried to downplay it.

SSF4 - havent played a sf game since SSFII in the SNES, this one captures the Street Fighter spirit imo. Easy to learn hard to master, Juri is my favorite character so far, having some issues beating cheap characters like Bison and ZAngief Marvel Ultimate alliance II - this game is really fun co op, the combos are nice, the story is decent (civil war), a lot to like a bout this one. Started Batman AS last night, game is pretty awesome. Best superhero game ever?

Soc- i need to find a cheap exoskeleton suit for these intense firefights with Monilith. I'm getting raped in my scientist suit. infamous- screwing around in the the second city trying to complete some satellite uplink side quests but the magnet like platforming is proving to be unreliable when precision is needed. I'm also running into a shit ton of bugs(grinding on the tracks and sinking under the ground/floating cars/falling into buildings on roof tops/getting stuck in fences during fights etc.) and the frame-rate is seriously in the teens for some of these missions. Story is interesting though. dirt 2- The game looks fantastic maxxed out at 65 fps and the racing is fun I guess. grid- track racing with a ton of shit laying on the road:| gears 2 mp- Had a 10 game winning streak with the boys:glad:

honest reach impressions Its time the franchise got torn from bungie's cold dead hands, because reach plays and looks exactly like the previous 3 games. For those of us expecting a huge change, what a letdown. -graphics: after the hype, terribly disappointing. it looks exactly like halo 3. I can't believe bungie pulled this shit again, the graphics are so terribly average. - weapons: It still takes a clip from the AR, which still sounds like a pea shooter despite the aesthetic change to kill someone. It's outdated design across the board. -Melee kill animations are downright awful, lmfao. clunky as fuck too. -Why would they make melee LB + New weapons are good. + Customization looks insane + Points system is better than ranking up in COD unless the SP is epic as fuck Reach is gonna have a hard time at getting anything above 9.0, i can't wait for microsoft to takeover the franchise. Bungie's been pushing out fundamentally the same game for 10 years.
