I got tired of the crappy dpad on the pro so I got a sn30 plus Is crazy to think that ninty holds the patent to the best dpad and they're not even using it for their pro controller.

I'm part of the lucky few with a launch switch with no drift issues and no dpad issues on my pro controller. I do have friends who are experiencing the wonderful joycon drift though

Same. I even bought an extra pain of joycons at launch and all of them haven't suffer from drift. I do have a couple of friends that did get hit, though. To think I almost bought the pokemon switch lite, boy am I glad I didn't. I don't think I'm going to be buying any extra switch until nintendo fixes that problem and makes it easier to to switch between consoles.

I think they don't want to meet the same fate of 13 and 15, so they're probably taking their sweet time making sure all the right buttons are hit. I'm hoping they go for something more similar to ff9 for 16.
