If the hardware maker is saying it will have it.........its expected that developers would support it......or else WHY would the console makers devote the cost to implementing it? None of what you're saying makes any sense, from a logical or even a chronological level.

They're in a unique situation. Highly highly anticipated game releasing two months before new consoles come out is not exactly the best scenario. They don't want PS4 and XBO owners to hold off on buying a copy of their game until after the consoles come out. They'd rather they buy them at launch in September. So they gotta throw them a bone. There could be a resolution and framerate upgrade given out for free, but a few months down the road, they could released an "enhanced edition" that increases the NPC count and

Yeah, I was somewhat interested in this fight. You can tell Fury had a specific game plan, and he executed it. I don't like his game plan all that much, because it was based on trying to make Wilder tired in any way he could, and resulted in him wanting to come in and lean his entire body weight on Wilder, and induce as many bear hugs as possible. In fact, there's alot of punches that Fury threw that weren't meant to connect, but rather intentionally wrap around the back of Wilder's neck so that they can come in for a hug, and Fury just turns into a dead body laying on top of him.

Who would be stupid enough to advocate against having ray-tracing? Like............how stupid could a person possibly be? Also, the multiple game resume function is cool, that's a neat idea, like a immediate save state in memory and go back to the main menu and then play another game quickly.

Eh, I'm disappoiunted in that short film because it didn't commit to being one specific thing, it almost tried to be like three things. Looks like Apple is now 0-for-2 with their content subscription services. They're as bad at content as they are with phone hardware. And they know it, apparently the rumor is that in their next iOS update, they are going to allow people to have the ability to switch default Maps and Browser programs and allow Google apps to be defaults set by the user. Chances are most iPhone owners will be too stupid to actually configure their phone to change default apps. But its a start.

And they have room to grow even more. For most developers, after spending a little over 10 years making nothing but Witcher Games, and Witcher side projects, it looked like that IP was on a downward trend. They had milked it enough, they even said as much and were going to move onto something else. And all of a sudden, the IP has heated up again, and they are probably going to have to fast-track another Witcher game here in the short term. They went out of their way to have the Switch version incorporate cross-platform saves with the Steam and GOG versions.

Here's a question that might help explain it: would anybody here want to go to a PAX show while coronavirus is out there? Or any regular flu season, for that matter?
