My buddy grabbed the Splatoon 2 demo yesterday so I played a bunch of games with him...hadn't played in quite a while so it took some getting used to but I was back on top of those charts soon enough. Man I love that game. The music and art is so good. Funnily enough this is a friend that moved to Australia a few years back...usually when we try to play stuff on PS4 it ends with one of us just having unmanageable lag...Splatoon 2 is the first game that's been fine. Also jumped into MTG Arena. I went down a YouTube hole the other week and got intrigued by it. I've never really played Magic at all but I'm having a blast working through and building my collection/decks up. They seem to be pretty generous when it comes to giving you cards and there's a good amount of daily stuff to do to get more packs. The only card based games I've really played are Hearthstone and Slay the Spire. The mechanics of MTG are ridiculous compared to Hearthstone lol, so much to keep track of but I'm loving it. The art on the cards is dope too, makes me want to get into the physical version but I'd imagine that would cost a lot at this point. Still just raid logging for WoW mostly. Got a few things I still need from BWL and need my ZG rep for enchants. I dunno, don't got much motivation to log in outside of raids. Don't even have much motivation to log in for those, but I am looking forward to AQ and luckily my guild clears BWL and MC in the same night so not much of a commitment. Still not the same as Vanilla...probably more to do with less of my friends playing. Did a virtual games night with some friends the other week too and got back into Rocket League so I've been playing that here and there, I'm ass at it though. My timing on the aerials is so bad. We also played Risk of Rain 2 which I'd never played before but had a really good time with. Cool idea for a roguelike. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Was going to wait to grab it but I'm not going back to work for another 2 weeks so I figured fuck it - I'll just play it now. Only played it for an hour or so but had to stop. I really do not like the camera, its annoying the shit out of me... I feel like I'm going to have to play this game in bursts because of it. Hopefully it'll get better later but somehow I doubt that. Its deliberate, they wouldn't be able to get as much out of the visuals if the camera was pulled back more. I didn't like it much in the demo but I got used to it in the full game. There literally is no reason for the camera to be that close. That's not "showing off the visuals", that's just terrible camera work.
