Imo the joke is that Rockstar can only make 0.5 games in a generation. Not that GTAV isn't great. Naughty Dog doesn't have this problem.

Yeah and the PS5 remake looks like a bigger jump than the PS4 remaster. It deserves this attention because it's the best example of the AAA game so far. It took the mantle from classics like Half Life 2 and Bioshock. And they're making an HBO TV show based on it. So yeah it earned PS4 and PS5 versions. I got the PC versions of Skyrim and GTA so no rebuys there. But again, these are mega-hits. People continue to play them, spanning hardware generations.

Years later, people will play the PS5 version not the PS3 version. Just like people play Wind Waker HD not the GameCube original. There's no downside to better versions of classic games. Demons Souls on PS5 is also sick.

For as successful as the Switch has been, a ton of its key games are WiiU ports. Shameful for Sheep to say anything against the gods.

Looks fucking spectacular. I wasn’t gonna buy this at launch but it’s looking incredible. This might be the remake I didn’t know I wanted. I’ll probably end up picking this up on day one. It’s nice seeing the original brought up to the same visual fidelity as TLOU2
