More taxes for you so hopefully you don't decide to kill anyone with one of those six , and not the 7th you were gonna buy. The number of guns out there is extreme . They won't go anywhere . They are there . Buyback programs are proven do not put a dent in anything . I don't really disagree with the rest of the stuff you said . People need to understand, none of us ever grew up with school shootings. The post-millennial generation is the first generation of kids who grew up being taught what to do with school shootings. The 1st graders from Newtown, who survived back in 2012., they are 5 years away from being allowed to vote. Those kids who become voting adults will NOT compromise. They will vote for politicians who will repeal the 2nd Amendment, Full-stop. The majority of millennials (who are already at voting age, today) will go along with them. There won't be enough baby boomers and Gen-Xers to stop them at the ballot box. This is one of those "your running out of road" issues. I don't think a hillbilly will protect me from the biggest Military in the globe deciding to turn on its own populace. So, erm, no citizens with guns please. Additionally, they should require a license to own and operate, just like a car, with universal background checks for each license renewal.
