I don't know i'm actually okay with this. I'm also good with Aerith earning gil for Don Corneolio before Cloud dresses up like a woman. She's basically a prostitute in the remake. In the original she has never met Don before you enter his establishment. She doesn't want Clouds flower only gil to pay for her dishonest family. I'm not mad at Red XIII murdering Barrett after Hojo let him loose. It's like a new change of plans. Barrett dies, so Aerith can live. Sephiroth is also Super Mario and jumps on Aerith head in the forgotten city for all eternity.

I kinda feel like they came out at the right time too considering what’s going on. Will give me a lot of free time to really get into ffvii

That’s great to hear man. Was no small feat to try and improve on perfection but it sounds like they’ve somehow managed to do it. What a time for JRPGs lately between the Personas, Fire Emblem and FFVII.

They're even better than I remembered. I'm surprised how well it holds up tbh. I was going in wondering the same, but I dunno, maybe I'm just easily pleased.. but they are epic on every scale to me, and I don't think GoT has changed that at all.

Absolutely loving FFVII Remake more and more. Still can't believe they've achieved this. This is probably my favourite real time combat system ever in an RPG.

Westworld was brilliant. Along with everything yous said, the music in that ep was epic. That short fight scene at the 'auction' especially. The reveal now seems so obvious that I can't believe I didn't think of it (those are the best kind of twists). Loving this season.

If what I'm reading is true, I think you'll dig this especially since you have no attachment to the original game. I'm getting it Friday and I'll let you know. It looks fantastic though in every way: gameplay, graphics, music, presentation, etc.

Having a good time with FFVII Remake. Didn't play the original past a few hours because it was so damn ugly when I picked it up a few years later so it's all new to me. Game is absolutely gorgeous and the attention to detail is amazing, even the NPCs have their mouths animated when they randomly talk. Also unlike games like Flop of War and Horizon ZD it runs perfectly quiet on my PS4 Pro without the fans going full speed, Japanese expertise at work Dialogues in the cutscenes are kinda cringey and gay sometimes in typical Japanese weeaboo fashion but that's maybe the tone from
