2) Use a baton.

Its too hard to tell from the video, but I find it hard to believe that every bullet went into the guy's back. Theres no way he would have survived that. To me it looks like most of the shots are going towards his arm/upper shoulder. Yes I can see why people still find that excessive, but if the cop really wanted to outright kill the guy he would have just shot him in the head, or in the direction of his heart.

cops do not aim at limbs. they shoot at the main torso.

Or you know, the guy have just followed their simple instructions and things wouldn't have escalated in the first place? Regardless, if theres any chance he could have been going for a gun then the response from the cops needs to be similar.

well well we finally have the full story. the guy was PHYSICALLY FIGHTING with the cops before he was shot, which is why the one in the video had his gun out in the first place

What do they have batons for? What do they have tasers for? What do they have tactics to subdue people for? 

 

So every encounter with the public where they don't immediately Obey a cop should lead to the shooting of an unarmed man in the back 7 times?

Yeah it is unreasonable................because the cop kept on putting his gun within reaching distance by LITERALLY FOLLOWING HIM AROUND THE CAR.

 

There goes the "I'm fearing for my life" and the "he's coming at me" excuses. The cop is literally FOLLOWING HIM with the gun.

 

So.............we already had the full story. The person is walking away, the cop is not in fear of their life and they are purposely seeking a confrontation to use to their gun by intentionally FOLLOWING him around the car.

Yes its still unreasonable. The man was unarmed.   There are four cops.. Subdue him, Taser him or use the baton. They have already those options for a reason. 

 

You seem to think that I'm trying to prove the man innocence for whatever he did to be in that situation in the first place.  He could be guilty as fuck for punching and or kicking a cop...... ok.... So arrest his ass. 

 

but don't shoot him in the back at point black range 7 times. 

 

No one is against cops doing their jobs.... but killing people for minor offenses that's uncalled for.  That's where the issue is.
