If people don’t want to change their lifestyle for the better that’s on them but the worst is the whole ‘healthy at any size’ movement. How delusional do you have to be to think you’re somehow healthy while morbidly obese.

I’ve put some hours into it and the game is fucking awesome. If you love games like Nier Automata and other hack and slash games you’re gonna love this. A solid hack ‘n slash game. The sites trying to give it low scores are just being woke fgts because as far as gameplay and graphics goes this game is top-notch. It’s hard to believe this is Shift Up’s first big AAA console release. It feels extremely polished. I haven’t run into a single bug playing this game and I feel like it’s a complete game rich with content just like in the old days when games came complete.

Circled back to Prince of Persia which I dropped at some point, maybe when FF came out, I forget. Anyway, game is awesome - I just started over since I wasn't terribly far in anyway. Think I'm about halfway through now - just a very well made Metroidvania but where it really shines is the movement, the loadout you get is great and everything is super snappy - leads to some amazing platforming sections.

Nearly 18 hours into Rise of the Ronin. The game does have a lot of Ubisoft style design where it litters the map with icons like collectibles, activities, outposts you can clear to unlock even more icons on the map, etc. But what I will say is that you can quickly breeze through a lot of stuff in a short period of time so it always feels like you're making progress regardless of how long your play sessions are (this would have been a great pick up and play game for a PC handheld). Also the game does a good job of constantly rewarding you whether it be with new loot, skill points, deeper bonds

The exploration aspect yes. Thats my favorite part of the game. I missed so much the first run through because i accidentally beat the game lol. Im also trying new vocations. I maxed fighter now im close to maxing the one im using now. Ill probably do one more after that. The fodder enemies are dead on site. Yes its very easy at the level im at. Thats why im considering dropping pawns. But im also just having fun with the new combat from the new vocation and enjoying the exploration. Im also upgraded pretty heavily. finally grabbed this today. only a few hours in but so far really liking it. it's definitely rough around the edges but it's also doing a lot of interesting things and has a satisfying gameplay loop, some of the dynamic aspects of the game are clearly a bit prone to weird things/bugs happening but it also makes for a really enjoyable and unique experience. it's a gamey ass game and if it continues along this way ill take that over some overproduced homogenized trash like ragnarok.

DD2 is the next big game for me but mostly just some pallet cleansing after finishing Rebirth. Also need to get around to IW and Unicorn Overlord... Circled back to Mario Wonder the last couple days. Just going back through levels where I missed a purple coin/exit/seed the first time through. It really is a fantastic game, my big complaint is still that it lacks the level of difficulty I like to see in a platformer - which is a shame since it would be a fantastic base for that....controls are perfect and I really enjoy the aesthetic.
