Plowed through all of Dead Space over the weekend. Took me just over 13 hours so I think it is slightly longer than the original. The few side quests probably contributed to that, but admittedly they're pretty simple and don't add much in the way of content or really anything that interesting for that matter. Im watching Alice in Borlerland s2 now and just finished the checkmate ep where they have to tag each other to swap teams. Probably my favorite game they showed so far

Eiyuden Chronicles Rising is awesome. Fun charming action sidescroller RPG with a very fast pacing. I always thought this game was just a cheap cash-in before the real Eiyuden but this is pretty sweet and makes me even more excited for the real Suikoden like RPG. I believe these guys might just pull it off now that I've played this. Also, Sunset Overdrive is some of the fun I had with an Insomniac game. Watched Top Gun Maverick. Was so damn good. Finished Alice in Borderland S2 finally. Definitely picks up and has some cool moments. Finale was pretty wild. I think S1 is better but S2 was decent also. I'd be happy with the story ending there.

Its really not much different than most action games. It basically takes away your ability to mash buttons. Like the parry only boss for example, its shows you how its going to attack , the you just have to parry on the correct timing. Regular enemy fights your attacks have to be in sync with the beat. Its just about timing. Your cat friend sits right next to you and pulses everytime the beat hits so you dont even have to be paying attention to the music. The world moves to the beat as well. This game feels like i woke up in 1999 and bought my first Sega Dreamcast game. Im havent even finished this game and its probably my favorite game of the gen. Hits all the marks for me. Action game + Rhythm game with an 80s Saturday morning cartoon art style. You can tell the care that was put into this game. It really is something special. Challenging as hell also once you get past the first few tracks and you unlock parry. The combat system is way deeper than i would have imagined. Almost too much for me to remember. It really opens up and gets crazy as you unlock
