  2. I'm not sure if Jerry is retarded or something, but he always does this. First he got caught lying about what I own or don't own. Then after I proved that wrong with IRL pics, he spent like 20 pages telling me one of the absolute best displays of 2022 according to RTINGS, HDTVTEST, and HUB was trash. Found the thread, Digital Foundry: God of War Ragnarok on PS5 is like a maxed out PC Port with flawless performance! - Page 22 - System Wars - System Wars

  4. Got to admit, they've been on quite the roll lately. Their releases have all been scoring well, selling well... seems like they've really found their groove with getting out high quality games at a regular cadence, and to back it all up they have their own proprietary engine which runs extremely well on everything. Good stuff for sure. Some people wont necessarily agree with that though.. and would say they're wasting too much time remaking games. The reality though is that: -Monster Hunter is firing on all cylinders, "World 2" will be absolutely massive for them and is an ob

  6. I think it looks fantastic. The ray traced water, added building detail and faster speeds through the city all come together nicely.

  7. I've been playing with both. Game handles perfectly. Some of the menu stuff take a bit longer, but it's all very intuitive, and feels nice.

  8. Ohh I only saw the first season with my ex wife lol. I don’t remember the cast. But yeah, he was great and his “wife” is stunning! I watched some stupid show because she was in it.

  10. The early access period being so long before release is kind of crazy. Im sure some people will have finished the game by the time the 6th rolls around

  11. It felt like a cliffhanger you'd expect to see in a TV show. Except they did it in a movie. The characters were def the highlight. Especially the dude who was on 13 Reasons Why (I think it was that show?).

  12. Oh I didn’t mind the crazy ending. It was fun seeing them as nut jobs. The mind games early on were great, though.

  14. Exactly. This shit HAS to be there. Fable, Avowed, Perfect Dark... if any of those don't get SOME screen time with actual gameplay/cutscenes.. it will be incredibly disappointing. They've had far long enough.. no more next year. They have to be shown NOW! And if they can manage that, and also show off a Hellblade 2 trailer, along with Forza Motorsport, and a couple of surprises and 3rd parties... I'll think it was a good/great show. They've got to start moving ahead with this stuff... it's been talk about the same "Fable, Perfect Dark, Avowed, Forza, Hellblade" game

  15. He was impeached twice and lied to the public to the extent he caused a riot INSIDE the capitol on the low end - incited an insurrection in the extreme. Not to mention all of his crimes? I'll take 4 more years of Biden being wheeled around in an electric high chair than Trump and the sad part is that DeSantis is far more capable than Trump but in the way a Sith apprentice eventually best their mentors. So while I'm bummed I have to vote for a milquetoast old man that is quickly decaying, shame on Republicans for producing Trump and DeSantis at the same time.

  16. Its going to be tough for sure. Thats why the pro-Ukranian Russians just organized another assault into Russian territory. They're still trying to divert resources from occupied parts of Ukraine. It ultimately is going to come down to whether or not Ukraine can overwhelm the Russians in numbers and make quick enough progress through those defenses. They're also betting on the possibility that many mobilized Russians will just run away from the frontlines and not risk their lives for a useless war that Putin dragged them into. The fortifications and defense lines won't mean much if

  17. Yea they pulled off some magic on that one. Quest 3 is going to be pretty great. ~2x the performance, higher resolution than the Quest 2/Pro/PSVR2. Fully untethered. It's the most powerful all in one VR set out there by a long way... and of course Oculus has the best ecosystem hands down. Will be interesting to see how this thing sells.

  18. Red Matter 2 is an anomaly. They even reached 120FPS on PSVR2 with no reprojections. Added 4k textures for the heck out of it. The fact Quest 2 works on PC (wirelessly) is THE reason to buy one. I consider playing directly on the helmet; the 'handheld' mode. It's a neat bonus though. I still haven't bought anything on the Oculus PC store but I do have games like Demeo which you get both versions when you buy it on Metaquest. That's really neat too. Of course my laptop can't run half of them so yeah.

  19. Yea, there's still some impressive native Quest 2 games out there though, like Red Matter 2... but your not wrong. Quest 3 should bring that up quite a bit I would think. In that Asgard's Wrath 2 trailer there's some nice texture work there. Still, regardless of all that, I love having a headset that is simply not connected to anything else, just my head. It's nice to be able to use my PC and play really high fidelity games like Asgard's Wrath, Lone Echo 1+2, HL:A, and lots of others completely maxed out... and all wirelessly. All my Oculus Store games, Steam

  20. I just realize we're actually getting a new Vampire The Masquerade RPG. And it's a VR game. Weird as fuck. Only had to wait 18 years so I'll take it. At least Fast Travel Games is an experienced VR studio so I got some faith it might turn out good.

  22. The simple textures look kills a lot of Quest 2 games visuals. The textures just doesn't have much detail, everything looks like plain colors at times. I think it's easier to see in VR bad texture works. It's kinda striking, there are no fine details, just some simple lines. I mean it works, resolution is pretty decent, controls are pretty tight but I can't go back to worse than PSVR1. It's fine if you're some broke kid and you don't have anything else. Anyone else shouldn't settled down for such watered down graphics, imo. It's fine for certain games like

  27. Fact of the matter is just that people don’t want live service games. Gaming is such a copycat industry and usually the copycats happen way to late to actually capitalize on what made it popular anyways. Look at the top rated games this year and they are all single player, self contained adventures for the most part. (Zelda, RE4, Prime Remastered, Hi-Fi Rush)

  28. pull ups are pretty hard on the shoulders, despite not being a shoulder exercise. you may also want to do whatever moves you pick with a neutral grip instead of overhand or underhand. less stress on the shoulders.

  29. Yeah I hope so. The doctor was overly cocky when I went for my followup a few months after surgery and seemed to think I was fully healed and just needed to do another round of therapy. But regardless of what he says this time my goal is just going to be to strengthen the muscles around my shoulder and see if that helps. I was surprised the other day when I tried both Lat Pulldowns and seated cable rows and was able to do both without feeling much of any discomfort in my shoulder. So I want to make those my regular back exercises. Ill also try bent over rows to see how those feel.

  30. let me know how it goes. if it makes you feel better, a buddy of mine broke his collar bone and damaged his shoulder in a bike accident. he was able to return to bench pressing in less than a year, so the right therapy can go a long way.

  31. yeah I wanna do those. I was also thinking of trying kettlebell swings but the top of the movement seems like it would put too much strain on my bad shoulder.

  33. I went pretty heavy on the leg press by my standards yesterday. Lifted a few pounds more than my body weight, which I realize isn’t much for this kind of exercise but it still feels like an achievement because I’ve never even tried pushing that kind of weight on any exercise before. I really feel the effects on my quads today but I don’t feel much in my glutes. I did position my feet a bit higher on the platform because apparently that stimulates your glutes more, but I don’t think it made much of a difference. I need to incorporate more glute focused exercises into my curre

  35. I did back-to-back upper/lower training days. I usually like a rest day in between, but I said “fuck it”… My sessions are short, 35 minutes? (With warm up included). It’s 90% compound lifts with only 1 set to failure of an accessory move (calve raises/tricep extensions/etc). Minimalist training ftw.
