  5. Both at launch is the best consumer move, but my prediction would be just the LCD at launch and the OLED model down the line to get people to double dip/have easier logistics at launch with only 1 SKU.

  8. The soundtrack in the game is surprisingly good btw. The record tracks = edit: man that 5th boss is just straight BS with those extremely quick attacks with such huge arcs.

  11. Finished Scars Above. Don't recommend, play literally anything else. Game is only like 6 hours long but it's the most bland 6 hours ever because everything about the game is just so damn basic. It's like the perfect average game.

  13. And there we have the flip-flop All that bragging about the OLED and how they couldn't go back, and now it's reduced to..."well actually Nintendo's LCD screens still look great....just not that one" An LCD is still an LCD. Sheep will once again shit all over LCD the moment Switch 2 OLED is available and they're milked for the hardware refresh.

  14. IDGAF about graphics or production values and I'm very aware indie games would perform ideally on current gen hardware. Yes, good graphics are great but for developers who are not producing power house presentations in their games, competing on high end consoles might not work in their favor. I'm just assuming of course but I'm Sony will welcome any game and no publishers want to leave money on the table. So if they are avoiding a best selling console they have to have prudent reasons to. I could be wrong but my assumption is the cost of development, benefits/liabilit

  15. They can't be technically released annually due to die shrinks. It's taking 2020 -> 2024 for a reasonable die shrink for a new console. The technology isn't there for annual console releases.

  17. Seems nice so far. I havent tried many games yet. Its super quiet and small. Has an i7 13700F and a 4070ti. I tried Starfield for a little bit and on default high settings at 1440p with res scale to 80 w fsr it never dropped below 70. Was typically 80s in the city and well over 100 in some smaller parts and caves. Re4 demo was locked 120 ( cause i set it to that) at 1440p and FSRQ. Can prob do much higher FR or resolution on that one. Gonna try CP a little later.

  20. their plans are to do a mid-gen refresh Xbox Series X 2TB next year in 2024............for $500, still. Not even a fucking price cut And the original Xbox Series X, the ONLY PIECE OF HARDWARE with a disc drive, is going to be "end of life" meaning they will not manufacture anymore. They're basically telling major publishers who sell $70 games at retail "don't bother making games for our platform, anymore."

  21. No it isn't. These people are already getting tired of that thing. The hard-core PC enthusiasts are ready to move onto to whatever PC hardware maker makes a sleeker, more powerful unit, and they'll buy that immediately. The rest. Who are casual or curious people who bought it, are probably not playing much on it anymore besides the most basic of indie 2d games. Steam, once again, loses interest and never follows through on their projects. They almost certainly didn't commit to any long term contract with OEM suppliers, so they've been
