Some nerd I know installed a Dreamcast region free BIOS or w/e on my console so it can play games from every region. I'm on way to a pimp dreamcast build. Trying to build up my dreamcast collection too. I used to have so many games, sold a lot of them when I was broke. The prices are ridiculous now. RE2 going for $150 I got that for $40 brand new back in the day. Some games I got sealed for like $12 (Skies of Arcadia, MVC) after DC died. going for $100+++ used now. Dreamcast collecting is nuts

You're not losing anything by holding off. BF5 is actually a terrible example of DLSS, so don't put much stock in that. It will be better and of course, RT will become more efficient. BF5 is essentially the first game to support it.. so in the future a 2060 could very well provide a good experience with RT. Really, just hold off, even just for this week. This week is the Game Developer Conference... and Ray tracing along with Nvidia have TONS of talks and there's sure to be some announcements as well. We'll very likely hear about improvements to the tech and reduce

Future games will probably require medium settings with rt imo . I didn't try BF5 but metro you need to play on high with dlss and you can mostly keep 60 but it will drop in areas . Dlss looks a lot worse than native 1080p too . So more taxing games will probably need medium settings . Luckily there are no other games w rt

I think I might have to add an RTX 2060 to one of my PC builds. I was looking at the 1660Ti but at it's price point, I might as well spend the few bucks more to be covered with ray tracing support that might come handy down the line.

I beat the main arc of ass creed odyssey, which is a recommended level of 42 (which allows for new game +) I’ll do the side stuff, mainly Atlantis, down the road. I found out the last artifact recommends a level 50. I’m too fried for that lol. All in all, it’s been a great game, that would have been even better if it was significantly shorter. A lot of the side quests were actually great, and had many missions packed into them, with interesting stories too. However, I feel I’ve hit the point of diminishing returns. The next 8 levels would be too tedious,

There were bound to be alternative ray tracing hack downloadsolutions that aren't as good or intensive as the real thing and dont need acceleration hardware, and this seems to apply only to reflections. It's a solution that's "good" enough. I don't see why people are bitching about about RTX when it's amazing hardware that does RT BETTER. You're paying a premium for a premium experience.

I have put 60 hours into ass creed odyssey. I’m at level 40. 10 to go. Fortunately, the last 6 or 7 levels were continuous ownage. I also love how your actions have a big impact on the ending (read a spoiler about how to answer something properly - for the good ending). It’s funny how BioWare completely flopped this gen, yet AC evolved into a very good wrpg. Lots of great side stories.
