He's not talking about the Kalm flashback scene. He's talking about the hidden scene you get when you return to the Shinra Mansion library after Cloud regains his memory. Its a scene that shows Zack and Cloud escaping and they hitch a ride on a truck to get to Midgar. Clouds all fucked up from the Jenova Cell injections so Zack is pretty much doing all the talking in the scene.

He’s a wizard and the best at what he does, nobody comes close to what he does live....by that I mean his DJ style, like you said he can go from dropping some filthy bass and transition that seamlessly into a more downtempo song. Yeah, Netflix did a great revival of it. Took the best parts of Lucifer and focused on those. It still had a few flaws but kinda to be expected when a show gets canceled and then picked up by another company. But overall, it was a strong season

Here's another one for you guys... First a 540p scene running at 89fps Second same scene at 1080p native running at about 1/2 the fps and third, 540p DLSS to 1080p.. running at 86fps. Essentially gaining back all the performance of 540p while actually looking better than native 1080p. It's fucking incredible. I mean SHIT. Just compare the 540p native screen to the 540p DLSS screen..... THOSE ARE BOTH RUNNING AT 540p..

It seems like a no brainer. Nintendo, and Nvidia themselves would be smart to do it. Having it essentially built into the console as standard would help tremendously with adoption. Already we have built in engine support for UE4.. and that's just the start. Now that it's general purpose with no per game training, it's only a matter of engine implementation. Then it becomes a no brainer to use. And the cool thing is that Nintendo and Nvidia could continually improve the quality and performance with simple system updates. It's really fucking cool. Will be awesome to see where

It really is going to be awesome. I can only imagine. There was talk about them using a Volta based GPU possibly (rumor of course) but if that was true... Volta actually has a faster tensor core than Turing. If Nintendo was opting to use Volta for that reason, it's pretty clear what their intentions would be. Now that DLSS2.0 supports 4x upscaling... it means they only need 1080p to hit 4K DLSS now... and remember that looks essentially native. So if Nintendo targeted high quality 1080p visuals... we could have 4K looking Switch 2 games with outstanding performance.

especially since switch 2 will probably still hit 540p undocked but in all seriousness, this is going to help make next gen games look incredible.

The effect from Zack on Clouds mind and psyche were definitely in the game before they leave Midgar. Remember when they all were captured in cells in Shinra HQ and Cloud had these illusion/conversations about who he is and so on. And right after that the eerie music starts playing, the cells are unlocked, you follow a blood trail to Jenova etc. etc.. just one example, there are more like this in Midgar, they just never show him. I didn't watch the trailer tho but to me it sounds like a simple flashback nothing too serious.

it's ugly, but it's such an amazing game. i think i gave it a 9.75 when i reviewed it.
