Sony deserves credit for Square enix releasing FFVII on a console with 100mil+ user base over a console that is unproven with no release day. Also credit to Sony for Mark cerny wiping his own ass. Mad props Sony1 point

We've been doing this shit for almost 20 years and somebody always wants to use an aggregate review source because 'it's more accurate', but the entertainment value of using a single review source is so much higher precisely because of situations like TLoU2.1 point

As I understand it, the PS5 is probably using PCIe 4.0 for SSD, but even then there's PCIe SSDs on the market right now, but they're still relatively slow. Its the bandwith controller components on these SSDs that will allow them to reach read speeds over 5 GB/s, and those components haven't hit the market yet. Samsung is one of them, and Phison manufactures the other controllers. So Mark Cerny explains that they achieve 8,000-9,000 MB/s (or 8-9 GB/s) peak read speeds because that is compressed data. Raw data, the speed is 5.5 GB/s, almost exactly as these new PCIe 4.01 point

Well, something had to reach a double digit because the PlayStation 5 couldn't do it with teraflops and The Last of Us: Part II couldn't do it with its score...1 point

Simple. Don’t waste time on games that are under $10. The full focus should be on AAA titles developed.1 point
